Ancient Egypt at the British Museum -  an overall introduction to the history and civilisation of Ancient Egypt through the antiquities at the British Museum, showing the connection between the pharaohs and deities; how the Ancient Egyptians planned their Afterlife through works of art in their tombs.

 Akhenaten: revolutionary ruler of Ancient Egypt   Akhenaten was the only pharaoh of Ancient Egypt who was a monotheist and the works of art from his reign stand out as being completely unique in the history of Ancient Egypt.

"Everywhere the glint of gold": discovery of a pharaoh's tomb This continues directly on from Akhenaten with the life and death of Tutankhamun, Akhenaten's son; the discovery of his tomb; and the treasures found inside.
